They also grow more dangerous with each passing turn, so the Pandemic board game quickly turns into a race against time in which every decision counts. With four deadly diseases having broken out across the globe, your job is to cure and eradicate them before civilization becomes overwhelmed. Defeat is always a possibility here, and victory hinges on your ability to communicate well. Although the theme hits closer to home these days, Pandemic remains one of the best cooperative board games ever made. If you want the ultimate co-op experience, this is where you should start.
